Money Back Guarantee for Tests
If, for any reason, you are not able to complete the tests, let us know and we will refund your money within 14 days. Refunds can be given at any point in the testing process prior to selecting the results for your copy or audio typewriting certificate.
Note that the refund will have the following deductions made for administration charges, unless the refund is requested within 24 hours of the original payment:

Certificates Delivered Electronically
No refunds will be given for certificates delivered electronically via email. Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 Consumers cannot cancel an agreement or return goods for: Goods made to the consumer's personal specifications. As all certificates are personalised with the customer's name and results, a refund is not relevant.
Return of Transcription Products
Our Equipment for Digital Transcription and Dictation are supplied by Data Supplies & Accessories Ltd. If you need to return any of these products, please complete the form in their Returns section.
You have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to 7 days after you receive the goods (see below). Please note that this policy has some limitations and does not apply to business customers.
To exercise your right of cancellation, you must give written notice to the Supplier by hand, post or the returns section of their website, giving details of the goods ordered, order and or invoice number and (where appropriate) their delivery. Notification by phone or email is not sufficient.
Except in the case of faulty or misdescribed goods, if you exercise your right of cancellation after the goods have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning the goods to the Supplier at your own cost. The goods must be returned to the address shown on your RMA Authorisation document that will have been sent to you once you had infomed the Supplier of your cancelation. All goods returned must be sent via Royal Mail Recorded or Special Delivery or by UK Carrier. You must take reasonable care to ensure the goods are not damaged in the meantime or in transit. In the case of faulty or misdescribed goods we shall either collect the goods from you or ask you to return the goods yourself and possibly refund you the reasonable postage costs.
Once you have notified the Supplier that you are cancelling the contract, the Supplier will refund or re-credit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods.
Except in the case of faulty or misdescribed goods, if you do not return the goods as required, the Supplier may charge you a sum not exceeding the direct costs of recovering the goods.
Payment
Payment is made through WorldPay in currencies of £Sterling - $USD - €Euro.
VAT
As a business we have been creative in our structure to avoid charging clients VAT. Our input tax is minimal and the effect of adding an output tax on to our business customer's fees would be dramatic as many are not registered.
Security
This site has reasonable security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Your IP address is logged by Worldpay for fraud prevention. Fraudulent transactions will be investigated.

You acknowledge that we cannot guarantee that our site will always be available to you, owing to the nature of the internet. In addition, you acknowledge that our site may be unavailable owing to maintenance, but where possible we will carry out such maintenance outside core operating hours, and we will try to minimise the period of any disruption.
Certification
The certificate provided by Tesla Typing is not a recognised examination certificate. The emphasis is on self testing of skill, speed and accuracy.
Competition Rules
Every month Tesla Typing are holding a competition to win a brand new FILCO keyboard.
To enter you must purchase either a copy typing test and/or digital audio typing test to qualify at the low cost of £9.95 fully inclusive.
The prize will go to the fastest typing test result we receive between the first day of the month, to and including the last day of the month closing midnight GMT.
In the event there is a tie break result, then the candidates' accuracy results will be taken into consideration and the higher percentage shall take the prize - the Judges decision is final and no correspondance will be entered into.
You will be notified by e-mail and post if you are successful and the prize will come directly from our sponsor The Keyboard Company.
The pink FILCO keyboard shown in our competion advertisement is for illustrative purposes; winners will receive a Filco Majestouch UK keyboard worth £95.00, plus VAT.
There is NO cash alternative.
