For a small cost you can take your own online copy and/or audio typing examinations whereby your speed and accuracy can be verified on this site. This would be particularly useful for potential employers who can enter your certificate identification code in the box adjacent; they will be shown your name, town and results clarifying that the certificate attained is definitely yours.
To access the typing tests, you need to register with Tesla Typing! Registering is simple and free and gives full use of the site, including access to the typing hints and tips, FREE tests for those who wish to “Try before you buy” as well as the main Copy and Audio Typing exams, where you can choose your “Best of Three” to go on your Certificate. To run the audio typewriting tests, you will need software to play back the audio tracks and it is highly recommended that you use foot-pedals to control the speed.
| You can have one FREE practice attempt of both tests, though these would not qualify for 'Rapid Tap' nor would you qualify for a certifiable result. Copy typing tests are available for £9.95, all inclusive and audio transcription tests are available for £9.95, all inclusive.
